Maulwerker performs Textures spatiales

The Berlin-based ensemble Maulwerker specialises in vocal experiments and the performativity of music. Its expanded vision of music integrates elements of performance, intermedia and conceptual art as well as contemporary dance theatre.

The Textures spatiales project combines transdisciplinary approaches between contemporary music, sound art and performance art. The programme includes multi-layered compositions based on German and French texts or alternating between the two languages, as well as a specific work with space. The compositions were developed especially for the five voices of the ensemble.
